SAMBAL: A Mobile App for National Social Assistance Programme
SAMBAL is a mobile app developed by the National Informatics Centre for the Ministry of Rural Development's National Social Assistance Programme (NSAP). The app is aimed at facilitating citizens to get registered and check their eligibility for pension assistance.
With SAMBAL, citizens can easily view the pensioners' list, DBT summary, and check the bank and post offices near them. The app also provides pensioners abstract and DBT summary up to GP level.
